In this week’s YouTube video, I talked all about why your Instagram account might not be growing. If you are looking to grow on social media and grow your audience, then this week’s video is very important to you.
Do you ever feel like you’re doing everything right on your Instagram account, but not seeing any growth? We’ve all been there, but I’m here to share why I believe you may be seeing a lack of growth in your account.
To put it in short – your content is boring. It’s easy for us to fall into the trap that we need to be just like everyone else on social media. I used to be in the habit of acting extremely professional and put together on my accounts, but when I looked back on my content I realized I wasn’t being myself. This led to a lack of engagement and growth through Instagram. This overall ruined the possibility of my followers connecting with me through social media.
I want you to take an honest and unbiased look at your content. Make a note of what kind of feelings you get when looking it over. Does it make you smile, laugh, excited? Or is it average and basic?
If you’re looking to spice up your content, you’re going to have to dig down deep into your life and personality. Sometimes these may be things in your life that you’re hiding from your followers. By opening up about these things, your followers might notice how authentic you’re being, and therefore growing your Instagram.
Even if this makes you a bit nervous, you can start small. Whether you want to post things and delete them right away or just save them in your drafts, just practicing opening up about these things can really improve your chances of actually posting about it.
